Miss E. Pattern
The funeral of Miss Elsie Pattern, who died at her home, took place at Magdalen Methodist Church. The service was conducted by the Rev V. Harvey. Organist was Mrs G. Kemp.
Miss Pattern, who at one time used Magdalen to attend Methodist Church was assistant organist there several years ago. Daughter of the late Mr and Mrs J. C. Pattern she lived at the adjoining village of the Wiggenhall St Peter.
She moved to Watlington about 20 years ago and was a devoted member of the Methodist Churches of Runcton Holme, Tottenhill and Wimbotsham. The funeral was followed by interment in Magdalen Cemetery.
