CRUSHED BY LORRY.

William Hills, who recently moved into Ulverstone with his family from Sprent, was crushed between the tray of a lorry and a landing stage. The lorry, conveying a cow, was being driven by his  father, Mr. Addison Hills, and on arrival at the farm of  Mr. A. W. Wyatt, at Gawler, unloaded the animal on to a stage. It is understood some difficulty was encountered in moving the lorry away and Hills , jnr., was pushing from the rear. The vehicle ran back and pinned him. He was taken to the Ulverstone Hospital where an examination by Dr. F. A. Ferris disclosed a fractured pelvis. His condition last night was satisfactory, but he is being kept under observation.
