The marriage was solemnised at Christchurch, Preston, Lancs., on March 29, of Pte. Albert Ernest Warner, A.C.C., son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Warner, 7 Burleigh Road, Preston (late of Lynn), to Pte. Doreen Betty Pattern, A.T.S., daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. C. Pattern, “Gatehouse,” Pullover Road, Lynn. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore white ringed velvet and carried red carnations. She was attended by Mrs. Doris Blackett (sister of the bridegroom), Miss Eileen Williamson (niece of the bride), and Miss Joan Austin (cousin of the bridegroom). Mr. William Bull (uncle of bridegroom) was best man.
