Research Notes
The Fenland Citizen (27 Nov 1991) has an article about milkman Paul Mainwaring breaking into 93-year-old Edith’s house on Beechwood Road, Wisbech, to provide assistance after she fell in her bathroom during the night and was unable to get up. He was later presented with the “National Dairy Council Care Code Certificate” — Edith can be seen in the background of the newspaper photograph.
