Miss Eliza Jane Petch died at her home, 25 Stukeley Road, on Thursday, after a few days’ serious illness, although she had been in failing health for some time past. She was aged 75. Predeceased by her husband, Mr. Herbert Petch, over a year ago, she had lived in Holbeach for many years. Mrs. Petch was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Jackson, of Whaplode, and leaves a family of three, two sons and a daughter. Mr. Herbert Petch and Mr. William Eric Petch live in Holbeach, and Mrs. L. Bragg resides at Massingham. Cremation was at Nottingham on Monday.

Mrs. Eliza Jane Petch, of Stukeley Road, Holbeach, who died on July 17, widow of Herbert Petch, retired baker, left £7,205 gross, £7,080 net value (duty paid £212).
Subject to some specific bequests she left her property to her children.
Probate has been granted to her son-in-law, Leonard J. Bragg, stationmaster, Station House, Massingham, and Ernest Waters, solicitor, Halmer Gate, Spalding.
