Mr. D. A. Pattern — Miss B. I. Lunn
The wedding took place on Saturday at Holbeach Methodist church between Miss Brenda Ivy Lunn, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Lunn, of 115 Spalding Road, Holbeach, and Mr. David Alec Pattern, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Pattern, of 4 Garrison Road. Yarmouth.
The Rev. F. Amery conducted the ceremony, and the organist was Miss G. Bingham.
The bride, given away by her father, wore a long white ballerina brocade gown with a boat-shaped neckline and stand-away collar. The dress had long fitting sleeves and a train. A three-tiered veil was held in place by a coronet headdress. She carried pink roses and stephanotis.
Attendants were Mrs. Joyce Pearson and Miss June Lunn (sisters of the bride). They wore pink empire line full-length dresses with frilled threequarter sleeves and matching headdresses and carried cream roses and stephanotis.
The bride designed and made all the dresses herself.
Pageboy was Master Michael Pattern (bridegroom’s nephew and godson) and he wore a white frilled shirt with black satin trousers and black patent buckle shoes.
Best man was Mr. David Wilkinson.
Master Mark Andrews (bride’s nephew) presented the bride with a lucky emblem.
The bride is a shop assistant at Holbeach and the bridegroom is a fruit buyer for Richard Hinchliffe, Hull.
After a reception at the parish rooms, Holbeach. Mr. and Mrs. Pattern left for a honeymoon in Jersey The bride wore a French navy dress and jacket with pink and navy accessories.

Obituary Notice
David Alec Pattern passed away peacefully with his family by his side on 13th June 2020 aged 78 years. A Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Brother. Private service at the Haltemprice Crematorium on Friday 10th July 2020. Donation can be sent direct to Parkinson’s UK.
