Mr George Pattern, former Cottingham businessman and local government worker in the Haltemprice area, left £30,884 gross £30,671 net (duty £5,947).
Mr Pattern, of Byland, North Street, Kilsby, Northants, formerly lived at 21 Southwood Road, Cottingham, and was formerly secretary and director of Gemmell and Frow, iron founders, of Plane Street, Hull. He was a former chairman of Haltemprice UDC.
Mr Pattern left his property to his wife, Elsie, and daughters, Miss Freda Pattern, of 30 Boswell Road, Rugby, and Mrs Audrey Simpson, of 16 Burnt Hill Road, Farnham.
